GRAPES

70% Cabernet Sauvignon 20% Merlot 10% Carmenère.

HARVEST

Third decade of September, first decade of October.

VINEYARD

The grapes come from hillside vineyards in the Colli Berici area, Municipalities of Brendola and Arcugnano.

VINIFICATION

Grapes are destalked and crushed; 15 days maceration in stainless steel vats.
Malolactic fermentation follows the alcoholic fermentation.

MATURATION

14 months in new and second passage French barrels (barrique / tonneaux). 2 months in bottles.

COLOUR

Intense garnet red.

PERFUME

Expressed through notes of small wild berries like blackberries, blueberries, currants and cherry jam. Harmonically matched with delicate nuances of sweet spices.

TASTE

Balanced, structured with sweet tannins; pleasantly enveloping, persistent aftertaste that recalls the fruity and spicy nuances noted by the nose.

SERVE

At a temperature of 18°-20°C.

PRESERVATION

For a correct storage of the wine keep the bottles laid down at a temperature within 15° and 18°C
