HARVESTThird decade of September. Manually harvested and transported in crates.
VINEYARDThe grapes come from the vineyards in hillside village of Soàstene, in the Colli Berici area, Municipality of Brendola.
VINIFICATIONGrapes are destalked and crushed. 10 days maceration in stainless steel vats at a temperature of 28°C. Malolactic fermentation follows alcoholic fermentation.
MATURATIONNine months in 2nd - 3rd passage barriques. Two months in bottles.
COLOURIntense ruby red with garnet reflections.
PERFUMEIntense and characteristic with scents of aromatic herbs and small red fruits among which are blueberry, and cherry, on a vein of light sweet spices.
TASTEThe mouth confirms the fruitiness and the typical picked up by the nose, with freshness and tannicity present and well balanced. Endowed with a good structure and persistent aftertaste.
ACCOMPANIMENTSRed meat dishes, wild game, braised beef, aged and tasty cheeses.
SERVEAt a temperature of 17°-18°C.
PRESERVATIONFor a correct storage of the wine keep the bottles laid down at a temperature within 15° and 18°C.
